Integrating Tevy with your Shopify Store

If you're at the Step 4 of Installing Tevy and you want to know how to generate the access token for Shopify then you're at the right place!

To generate an access token, you'll also need to create a custom app on Shopify and here are the steps:

1. Firstly make sure you're an admin, and you have the access to create an app.

2. Open Shopify admin. Go to Settings > Apps & Sales Channels and click on Develop Apps

   

3. Click on Create an App

   

4. Enter the App name as Tevy and click on Create app

   

5. Click on Configure Admin API Scopes

   

6. Search and give all the following 12 permissions, then click save:

   1. read_analytics

   2. read_customer_events

   3. read_custom_pixels

   4. read_customers

   5. read_inventory

   6. read_order_edits

   7. read_orders

   8. read_pixels

   9. read_products

   10. read_publications

   11. read_locales

   12. read_content

   

7. Go to API credentials and click on Install app

   

8. Click on Reveal token once and copy the token. You won't be able to view this token again, so make sure you save it in a secure place.

   

   

9. Paste this access token in Step 4 of Installing Tevy.
